“When asked why I work for QWB, I always say that it is the sense of belonging. Quality Wine Barrels is the first company I have worked for that made me feel like I wasn’t just a number but a real part of something.”
After returning to California and starting the job hunt, QWB seemed like a natural fit for me. I had already worked with wine barrels, and knew how physically hard it could be, but I wanted to take it on. It’s hard for people to wrap their minds around lifting 100 lbs barrels over and over again all day. It’s a great workout, though!
In the last eight years as I’ve grown with the company, I’ve been given the chance to explore my creative abilities with content creation and social media management. It has been pretty awesome to go from throwing barrels around to taking photos of barrels being thrown around—it’s a great mix of hard work and creativity.
Managing the day-to-day warehouse operations efficiently is a great source of pride, as I am responsible to make sure that every order that goes out the door is accurate and ready for our customers.

I know that is always the typical thing people say, but I genuinely mean it. From the first day, Lucas and Roger made me feel as if I was truly a part of something that continues even until today. It’s a place where I truly feel valued and connected.
When I’m not working, I love spending time with my wife and newborn daughter. When I’m not with them, you can often find me on the golf courses here on the central coast.
